Interim School Procurement Officer

East Midlands

Immediate start for 3 – 6 months

Paid on a daily rate

We are supporting an education provider looking for an Interim Procurement Officer to join them immediately for a 3 – 6 month contract, paid on a competitive daily rate.

As the Interim Procurement Officer, you will sit with their operations team and manage day-to-day procurement. This will include obtaining quotes, overseeing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and supporting cost-effective purchasing.

This will be a 5 day per week role for 3-6 months. They are offering a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite. The hours are flexible, around 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Candidate Profile

  • Procurement experience in an operational, hands on role
  • Education experience strongly preferred, but Local Authority experience can also be considered
  • Ability to work independently and liaise with external agencies
  • Immediately available
