Job summary

A leading recruitment agency seeks an Interim Registered Manager for a children's residential home in Scotland. This key role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and maintains a therapeutic environment for young people. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Registered Manager, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, and excellent leadership skills. This position requires onsite work five days a week and offers a competitive daily rate outside IR35, starting January 2026.

Location: Herefordshire
Contract: Interim 6 month contract
Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience) - OUTSIDE IR35
Start Date: January 2026 (must be on the DBS update service)

Panoramic Associates are seeking an Interim Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home during a transitional period. This is a key leadership role, ensuring the home operates in line with Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements, while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory compliance
  • On the DBS update service
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skill
  • Experience supporting homes through Ofsted inspection or improvement plans
  • Experience working with children with complex needs (EBD, trauma, or SEMH)

Please note that this is an urgent requirement and interviews will be held immediately with a view to start in January 2026. You will be required to be onsite 5 days per week and have your own accommodation.
