Job description

We are working with a large corporate business in Huddersfield that is seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to support them through the year end audit and on management accounts production. This is a 6 month contract.

There is a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days required in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and insight for senior leadership.
• Support the business through the year–end audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
• Act as a finance business partner to key operational teams, providing analysis and financial guidance to support informed decision–making.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and ad–hoc financial projects as required.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance team to drive efficiency and strengthen controls.
