Job summary

A well-established renewable energy developer is seeking a Project Manager for Interconnection. The role involves leading interconnection strategy for utility-scale renewable projects, managing the lifecycle from application through to energisation and operations. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and have at least 5 years of experience in utility-scale projects. Strong negotiation and multi-project management skills are also essential. This position allows for significant autonomy and influence over project aspects, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience on the developer or IPP side.
  • Strong working knowledge of FERC-jurisdictional frameworks.

  • Location: Stuart, Florida - remote considered
  • Travel: up to 50%
Your Opportunity

This role leads interconnection strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of utility‑scale renewable and storage projects. You will manage the full lifecycle from initial application through construction, energisation, and handover to operations. Sitting within an engineering and technical function, the position offers significant autonomy, visibility, and influence over project risk, cost, and schedule in a developer اختر leader environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full interconnection lifecycle from application through energisation and operations
  • Act as primary point of contact with ISOs/RTOs, utilities, and transmission providers
  • Track interconnection milestones, payments, securities, and queue obligations
  • nge align interconnection scope, schedule, and budget with development and construction plans
  • Review interconnection studies and translate outcomes into commercial guidance
  • Lead negotiations of interconnection and transmission-related agreements
  • Coordinate internal teams on design inputs, milestones, and contractual compliance
  • \->$support constructionhali-phase interconnection activities and utility coordination
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced degree, PMP, and/or PE certification preferred
  • 5 years’ experience managing utility‑scale interconnection projects with at least 3 years’ experience on the developer or IPP side
  • Strong working knowledge of FERC-jurisdictional frameworks and ISO/RTO tariffs
  • repentance experience across PJM, MISO, and ERCOT interconnection processes
  • Familiarity with ISO queue systems and portals
  • Proven capability leading interconnection agreement negotiations to execution
  • Experience supporting interconnection through construction and energisation
  • Strong communication, organisation, and multi‑project management skills
