Intercompany Financial Accountant

Location – Manchester

As an Intercompany Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and reconciliations across our global operations. You’ll support month end closure and reporting activities for multiple regions, including EMEA, NOAM and APAC, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements. What you will do:
  • Maintain and reconcile the Intercompany AP/AR subledger. Ensure accurate invoice recording and resolve discrepancies in Intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure timely Month-End close. Support AP/AR mismatches in complex situations.
  • Execute and maintain Intercompany reporting such as GRIR, R Blocks, Aging Payments, Payments (Netting and Non-Netting), Payment Methods & Payment Terms
  • Support internal and external Audit queries by preparing schedules, documentation and responding to audit inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with improving Intercompany accounting processes and internal controls. Support the SAP 4/Hana project.
  • Participate in global process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance in Intercompany accounting
  • Provide guidance and support to Accounts Payable team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team You’ll be part of a supportive finance team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for:
  • Evidence of financial qualification (AAT, PQ CIMA Or ACCA)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to interface with various levels of management.
  • Ability to handle Internal and External Audit queries
  • Understanding of work stream connection of Intercompany activities to other functions
  • Strong deductive and analytical skills for reporting aspect of the role
  • Hands on knowledge of SAP ERP (our enterprise resource planning system)
