Job summary

A respected manufacturing company in Poole, Dorset is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to ensure that machined parts and goods in meet engineering drawings and standards. The role involves inspecting parts, updating inspection reports, and requires prior inspection experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with measuring equipment and the ability to interpret drawings. This is a permanent position offering competitive hourly pay and benefits, including holiday and pension.

Inspector (Machined Parts)

Job Location: Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour, depending on level of experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm & Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm

As Mechanical Inspector, you'll report directly to the Quality Manager and play a key role in ensuring that all machined parts and goods in meet drawings, standards, and customer requirements.

  • Inspect machined parts against engineering drawings

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and inspection experience.

This role may suit a machinist who has some inspection experience looking to undertake this now as a career.
