We arm our clients with actionable consumer, competitive, and market insights that drive better investment and strategic decisions.

Role Summary

The Insights Associate will derive and communicate actionable insights on stocks, industries, and geographies using proprietary data, while guiding investors through data interpretation and modeling during live presentations. It also involves processing financial information, analyzing real‑world factors, and developing public‑facing content, along with completing special projects and reports.

Note: This role is based in either London or Dublin; we’re seeking candidates who are based there and can work hybrid or possibly remote.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Derive and communicate insights on individual stocks, industries, and geographies using proprietary data sources through written reports and direct communication.
  • During presentations, guide investor customers on relating data from multiple datasets to real‑world trends, highlighting key takeaways.
  • Demonstrate data modeling of company‑reported metrics, focusing on nuances and potential blind spots on a symbol‑specific or data product basis.
  • Process and interpret financial information from SEC filings, company presentations, and news reports for covered companies.
  • Incorporate real‑world factors that influence how data corresponds to reported numbers, making necessary modeling recommendations.
  • Analyze company commentary from conference calls to assess the impact of real‑world factors on data.
  • Leverage knowledge of individual companies to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of data.
  • Assist with special ad‑hoc projects, presentations, and reports.
We’re Looking for Someone with:
  • BS or BA in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate, sell‑side or buy‑side equity research, management consulting, or roles focused on using data to analyze business trends and solve customer challenges.
  • Some knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
You Will Be Successful at CE if You Have:
  • A detail‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities at once.
  • An internal sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

We are a remote‑first company with a distributed environment and flexible working arrangements. We believe that distributed workers should be first‑class citizens.

The annual base salary for this role is between $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience, with the opportunity for a performance‑based bonus, company equity, 401(k) matching, paid parental leave, flexible and generous time off, work‑from‑home flexibility, and subsidized health benefits.
