Job summary

We are seeking a GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Inpatient Dispensary Team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Dispensary Manager in management, coordination and delivery of the Inpatient Dispensary service.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
  • Undertake appropriate post-qualification studies as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum qualification NVQ3 Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Science or CGLI/Apothecaries Hall pre 1985 certificates.
  • Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Checking accreditation (Accredited Checking Technician, Medicines Management Accreditation, Preparative Services Checking Accreditation).
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel).
  • Recent hospital or community pharmacy dispensing or relevant specialist experience.
  • Recent dispensing or aseptics experience.
  • Optional: Supervision of other staff grades.
