We are looking for a passionate and talented developer to help build the tools we need to continue our focus in providing our customers the highest quality Apple Services experience. If you love designing, engineering and running systems and infrastructure that will help millions of customers, then this is the place for you!We are hiring outstanding individuals to join the ASE Infrastructure Tools Engineering team, a cross-functional group supporting a cloud engineering organization with process and tooling. We need people who can combine hard and soft skills to solve large, challenging problems. We create tooling that lessens the friction for SREs and engineers trying to do their jobs of making Apple’s services highly reliable.

Responsibilities

Contribute to building tooling and automation that support the ASE Infrastructure Tools Engineering team and broader cloud engineering organization. Help design, engineer, and operate systems and infrastructure that improve reliability and scalability for Apple services. Collaborate with SREs and developers to reduce friction and enable teams to deliver high-quality, highly available services.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience building internal tools for SREs and developers working in production environments at massive scale
  • Advanced experience with programming (Go, React), and building enterprise applications; strong front-end skills and a good sense of visual design a plus
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with React and its ecosystem
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience building and deploying applications on Kubernetes;
  • Able to write clear and consumable documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
  • Proven ability to self-start, balance priorities, and work independently
