This role will require occasional travel to our other sites to provide onsite support where required – a hire car will be provided, a full UK driving licence is required.

You’ll be responsible for supporting and resolving End User hardware issues within your designated region.

This is an expanding, challenging and demanding role, providing a front‑line interface between our high‑profile customers and Capita, working to tight Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure Capita achieves its contractual obligations and meets the business unit’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Security Clearance: successful candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.

As part of our commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workforce, we would particularly welcome applications from people who are from Black, Asian and other ethnic minority backgrounds.

What we’re looking for
Essential
  • Industry knowledge: ideally hands‑on experience with equipment from mail‑room / printing / scanning technologies – interest in technology and proven desire to learn.
  • Maintain in‑depth technical knowledge of End‑User IT hardware, including Desktop, Laptop and Printers, as well as other IT peripherals.
  • Confident analyzing hardware faults and using critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide evidence of problem‑solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Ability to be adaptable and learn quickly.
  • Customer‑focused and committed to providing excellent service to clients.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.
  • Strong customer‑facing skills.
What you’ll be doing
  • Diagnose and repair End‑user IT hardware break‑fix at client locations.
  • Provide installation and configuration of End‑user devices.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturer accreditation to support End‑User devices in and out of manufacturer warranty.
