A global professional services company based in Birmingham is seeking an Infra Managed Service Sr Analyst to work on DevOps projects and manage cloud environments. Responsibilities
  • Work on multiple projects as part of a wider cloud capability team.
  • Oversee the execution of tools and processes in the DevOps toolchain and promote the DevOps culture in client organizations.
  • Help customers with DevOps projects by providing technical, consultative, and delivery services.
  • Serve as a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives by providing objective, practical, and relevant advice, identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Work with development teams to meet acceptance criteria, gathering and documenting requirements. Lead continuous integration, delivery, automation, and infrastructure-as-code efforts for multiple cloud service offerings.
  • Set up and manage the operation of project development and test environments as well as the software configuration management processes for the entire application development life cycle when required.
  • Support client transitions to DevOps by driving adoption of tools and practices, and directing elements of the DevOps implementation.
  • Resolve and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Undertake necessary trainings and certifications on latest technologies.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS CLI and SDK tools.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows server operating systems.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell & Shell.
  • Strong incident fault finding skills and experience.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to configure automation using cloud native services.
  • Experience in extending on-premises environment to cloud.
  • Experience in migrating workloads to cloud.
  • Experience in Azure/AWS PaaS.
