Are you looking for a role where you will be supporting the organisation in intelligence-led decision making to enhance the patient experience, learning new skills and delivering great results in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide cover up until April 2027. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Excel, have excellent numerical, statistical and analytical skills and able to interpret data requirements to deliver the needs of the target audience.

You will be working in a team that is key to delivering data to internal divisions within the organisation and to external bodies by means of national submissions, local requests for data and freedom of information requests.

This is an exciting time to join our team. We are currently in the progress of moving to a new data warehouse, where you would have the opportunity to carry out development and testing work to ensure business continuity.

We can offer the successful candidate hybrid working with at least two days per week working on site.

Main duties of the job
  • Production of regular reports which include mandatory national and regional data returns.
  • Investigation, development and production of ad-hoc analyses to support operational and clinical services within the organisation.
  • Completing FOI requests with the service level agreements.
  • Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Supporting the team in preparation to moving to a new data warehouse by means of testing and development work.
  • Investigation and resolution of data quality issues.
  • Responding to emails in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to translate and produce their data requirements, sourcing information to aid your decision making and seeking approval to submit national returns.
  • Managing and prioritising your own time and workloads.
  • Validating reports produced by members of the team to ensure accuracy of the data.
  • Occasional weekend working will be required to produce and submit operational reports during the winter months and bank holidays.
