A leading aerospace company in the UK seeks a Trim Engineer to lead the introduction and optimisation of trim systems for aircraft seating. This role requires strong technical leadership, a background in aerospace or automotive engineering, and a commitment to continuous improvement in production processes. The purpose of the Trim Engineer is to play a key role within the Industrialisation department, leading the introduction and optimisation of trim systems from concept through to production launch.
This role is responsible for developing, validating, and improving trim processes, tooling, and documentation to ensure product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and on-time delivery of programme milestones.
The Trim Engineer will lead a small team of Trim Technicians, coordinating development build activities, ensuring readiness for production, and driving continuous improvement throughout the industrialisation process.
