Job Title: Independent School Teaching Assistant

Location: Clapham Common, Greater London, England

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: £100 - £110 per day

Responsibilities
  • The Independent School Teaching Assistant will support classroom teachers in delivering educational activities.
  • Provide one-to-one assistance to students with learning difficulties.
  • Assist in preparing teaching materials.
  • Supervise students during class and break times.
  • Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications: A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English, strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in working with children and young people.
  • Education: GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Good communication skills, ability to work well in a team, patience, and a passion for supporting students\' learning and development.
  • Preferred Qualifications: A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
