Job summary

A leading hospitality brand is looking for a qualified lawyer for a 9-month fixed-term contract to support their in-house legal team in Greater London. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years PQE with expertise in English commercial law. This role offers flexibility with hybrid working, and the successful applicant will be involved in drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing legal support to various stakeholders. Salary is between £60,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years’ PQE as a qualified lawyer in UK or commonwealth jurisdiction.
  • Expertise in English contracts law is essential.
  • Organised with a detail-oriented approach and good time management.

Responsibilities

  • Support businesses with drafting and negotiating client contracts.
  • Provide general support on various legal matters.
  • Assist AI, Tech, and Privacy lead as needed.
  • Monitor and manage legal inboxes effectively.

Skills

Qualified lawyer (1 to 3 years' PQE)
Knowledge of English commercial/contracts law
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem solver with a goal-oriented approach
Proficient in office management systems
Ability to advise and negotiate
