Overview

In-house Legal Counsel - Leeds

2+ years PQE

Global business with headquarters in Leeds, are seeking a talented lawyer to join its team as In-house Legal Counsel.

Reporting directly into the General Counsel, you will be responsible for advising on a wide variety of legal issues across the group. These include:

• Reviewing drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Advise leadership on contractual, regulatory and cross‑border legal matters.
• Work closely with product and commercial teams to support growth initiatives.
• Provide day-to-day legal and strategic support to commercial teams and act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on key legal and contractual issues.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

• UK qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), gained at a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
• Your experience can come from a range of the mainstream commercial practice areas, such as commercial contracts, corporate, or intellectual property.
• An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
