Qualifications

  • Solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years PQE in employment law.
  • Skilled in both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
  • Experienced with FS regulatory frameworks.
  • Clear communicator with strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in-house within a complex, collaborative legal function.

Responsibilities

  • Leading contentious employment litigation and tribunal representation.
  • Advising on non‑contentious matters: restructures, policies, TUPE, redundancy.
  • Supporting HR on investigations, disciplinary processes, and settlement agreements.
  • Monitoring and advising on employment and people-related regulatory changes.
  • Coaching internal stakeholders and delivering training sessions as needed.
