Freight Forwarder- Imports

Location: Immingham

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00/08:00-16:00

Are you ready to take the next step in your logistics career? A fantastic opportunity has opened in our Import Department at DSV Road Ltd, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team. As part of our import team, you’ll manage shipments from Scandinavia to UK-based customers using DSV’s extensive road-freight and distribution network. You’ll liaise with local depots, coordinate deliveries, and ensure customer requirements are met with precision and professionalism.

What will you be doing?
  • Handle import shipments and provide excellent customer service for general and key accounts.
  • Receive and process bookings via our online platform or email.
  • Coordinate UK deliveries and instruct warehouse/distribution teams using our Transport Management System.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and DSV offices across the UK and abroad.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and operational procedures.
  • Manage administrative tasks including invoicing, POD handling, and query resolution.
