Overview

Job Title Implementation Engineer

The Implementation Engineer plays a key role in delivering integrated software solutions by gathering and analysing requirements, facilitating client workshops, configuring systems, and ensuring successful deployment.

This position involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams, producing clear and accessible documentation, and supporting the launch of solutions. The role also includes maintaining compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), information security, and data privacy standards.

In addition, the Implementation Engineer actively mentors team members, shares expertise, and contributes to building team capabilities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Have practical experience and comprehensive understanding in your discipline
  • Understand how your area contributes to the business and support colleagues developing their skills
  • Contribute to decision-making, anticipates dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, participates in cross-functional projects, proposes process improvements, and is responsible for individual and team commitments
  • Work independently within an agreed plan, seeking guidance for complex situations
  • Mentor junior team members and share expertise to support their growth

Additional Accountabilities:

  • Gather and analyze functional, non-functional, and system integration requirements, and conduct workshops with clients to discuss solutions.
  • Configure software components, such as workflows and business rules, and deliver project documentation, including training materials and system setup guides.
  • Guide users through all necessary testing to ensure readiness for system launch and provide initial support after launch. Perform testing of the solution where required.
  • Coordinate transition to ongoing support and maintenance teams and analyze customer systems and service requirements.
  • Ensure integration of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) in all activities, maintain compliance with EHS Policy and Procedures and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and complete all required training.
  • Travel to customer sites for workshops and solution testing.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Relevant experience in with requirements gathering, system integration, and software configuration
  • Automation testing experience will be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams and customers.
  • Skilled in identifying solutions to complex challenges, adapting to new situations, and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to compliance with EHS, information security, and data privacy standards.
  • Engages effectively with clients, guides users through testing and deployment, and provides clear documentation and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Must be eligible for UK SC clearance (min. 5 years UK residency)
