Job summary

A community health service provider in the East Midlands is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their School Nursing service. You'll be responsible for assessing the health needs of children and young people, implementing health interventions, and collaborating with partners for service delivery. Qualifications

  • Community experience is essential.
  • Proven evidence of team working skills.
  • Knowledge of the public health role is beneficial.
  • Understanding of child safeguarding policies required.
  • Experience with Systm 1 is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Assess health needs of school age children and young people.
  • Implement and evaluate health intervention programs.
  • Work within 0-19 framework for service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other agencies for seamless service.
  • Manage child protection responsibilities with supervision.
  • Support, mentor, and supervise team members.
