Job summary

A leading educational organization in the UK is seeking a Safeguarding and Welfare Coordinator to ensure the safety and wellbeing of international students aged 8–17 during summer programs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, preferably in a residential setting, and hold relevant safeguarding qualifications. Responsibilities include liaising with various team members, ensuring welfare issues are managed effectively, and maintaining health and safety standards. Qualifications

• Experience working with young people.
• Experience working in a residential setting.
• Experience of counselling or mentoring young people.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cultural, religious and dietary needs of students are met.
• Work with team and group leaders to maintain student discipline.
• Be the first point of contact for students' welfare or safeguarding issues.
• Organize regular meetings with the team.

Skills

Education

Level One 'Basic Awareness Safeguarding' trained
