A well-regarded organisation in the West Yorkshire region is seeking an experienced and proactive lawyer or legal professional to join their friendly team on a locum basis.

Our client is looking for someone who can help them navigate the processes and complexities of obtaining passports and / or British citizenship for children in care. Obtaining passports and citizenship for children in care can be quite difficult and lengthy due to missing documentation and complex embassy requirements, which vary country to country.

This role would be well-suited to a lawyer or legal professional from a immigration law background. Our client is seeking someone who can work with the social care team and use their legal knowledge to resolve these cases, streamline processes, make applications and help to upskill the team in this area.

The role is expected to be for a minimum of 6 months and will require some office attendance in West Yorkshire on a hybrid basis.

Part-time and full-time hours are available, with a minimum of 2 working days per week.

We are aiming for a start date sometime in January, however this could be negotiable for the right candidate.

If you are interested in this Immigration Lawyer opportunity, please apply immediately to be considered for short‑listing.
