Qualifications

  • Previous experience of visa casework and knowledge of the Home Office’s Sponsorship Management System.
  • Good understanding of the Home Office points‑based system and immigration rules.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Issue certificates of sponsorship for Skilled Worker and Temporary Worker (GAE) visas.
  • Provide professional support to visa holders with visa applications for Skilled Worker, Temporary Worker (GAE), Global Talent and ILR.
  • Provide first‑class advice and guidance to the Department of Paediatrics on all aspects of immigration and compliance including sponsoring visa holders, managing compliance, right-to-work checks, and invitations for Academic and Business visitors.
  • Operate within the Home Office’s Sponsorship Management System and interpret immigration rules.
  • Perform rights‑to-work checks, and support compliance and visa holder experience.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of visa casework and knowledge of the Home Office’s Sponsorship Management System.
  • Good understanding of the Home Office points‑based system and experience of interpreting immigration rules and applying them to individual cases.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.
  • Strong attention to detail and clear written and oral communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for visa holders.
  • Some immigration experience required; training can be provided.
Work Arrangement

Hybrid working, with one day per week at Worcester Street and one day with the HR Team of the Department of Paediatrics in Headington, Oxford.

The role works predominantly with the Staff Immigration Team and will join the Paediatrics Team once a week, with the opportunity for hybrid working.
