A multi-campus secondary education institution in Barking is seeking an ICT Technician for its dedicated ICT Support Team. This full-time role involves providing essential support across two schools, focusing on software, hardware, networking, and systems management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and work collaboratively to enhance the educational experience. 35 hours per week, Full Time
Salary Scale: Scale 6 (Point 18 (£35,520) – Point (£36,585)).
Barking Abbey School and Eastbrook School are working together under the same leadership, and we are looking for an IT Technician to join our dynamic ICT Support Team.
This role is integral to the daily smooth operation of the schools and will provide a hardworking, ambitious and proactive candidate with great opportunities for growth and development, and to gain specialist knowledge and skills around supporting a large and extensive IT estate, spread across two schools.
The role will be varied, and at times fast paced, enabling the successful candidate to develop skills and specialisms with software, hardware, networking and systems management.
The role will be in an expanding ICT support team of five staff, and the successful candidate will work closely with the Network Manager to ensure the school’s operational needs are met, and that staff and students receive first class support in their educational journey.
