As a Class Teacher, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality teaching that empowers our pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll foster a culture that promotes excellence, equality, and high expectations for all students.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative teacher to drive forward our approach to ICT and STEM across KS2, KS3, KS4, and Post 16. You'll collaborate with colleagues to develop exciting and innovative lessons that enthuse our students, leveraging your strong ICT skills and passion for staying engaged with technology. You'll also support the wider team in integrating technology to enhance learning and develop real-world skills.

While your primary focus will be on ICT/STEM, there may be an element of delivering wider subject lessons to ensure the smooth running of the school. Naturally, you will uphold all school policies and practices, including those related to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates:

• PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with evidence of in-service training.
• Strong academic qualifications and experience teaching ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths.
• Excellent ICT skills, a passion for staying informed and engaged with technology, and the ability to share this with others.
• A clear understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
• The ability to create and maintain strong, nurturing relationships with young people.
• Experience in managing a range of learning approaches, particularly for students with anxiety or reluctant learners.
