Job summary

A leading insurance brokerage firm in Maidstone is looking for an experienced SME Commercial Account Handler to join their team. The candidate will manage a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring excellent client service and compliance with FCA standards. Previous experience in commercial account handling is required, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate confidently. This is a full-time hybrid position requiring office attendance three days a week after training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial account handling role, ideally in the SME space.
• Solid understanding of FCA requirements and Consumer Duty standards.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of SME clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of SME clients and manage renewals, MTAs, and queries.
• Provide client servicing while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance.
• Negotiate with insurers across a range of commercial products.
