Job summary

A leading logistics company in the UK seeks an experienced HR Manager to shape the future of the organization during a period of growth. This hybrid role includes 3 days in the office each week and focuses on championing inclusive practices, managing employee relations, and supporting talent development and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and a strong understanding of UK employment law. A competitive salary, along with various benefits, is offered.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrable success in a similar Management role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support to Head Office team ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Champion best-in-class people practices and nurture an inclusive culture.
  • Manage employee relations cases consistently.
  • Partner with hiring managers for recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and provide coaching.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and inclusion.
  • Update and develop HR policies in line with Employment Law.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.

Skills

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Success in a similar management role
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to build relationships quickly
