Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is working with a well-known company to recruit a Group Reporting Accountant on a long-term contract basis in the United Kingdom. This hybrid role involves financial statement preparation and compliance with UK SOX requirements. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with relevant experience in Financial Reporting or Audit. The contract is a minimum of 18 months, with potential for a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in Financial Reporting or External Audit from PLC env.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review group financial statements.
• Review subsidiary financial statements and manage audits.
• Support on financial reporting projects and new accounting standards.
• Assist in compliance with 'UK SOX' requirements.

Skills

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Relevant experience in Financial Reporting or External Audit

Full knowledge of accounting standards and corporate governance

Ability to manage complex tasks
