Overview

We are seeking a numerate and detail oriented EA to assist the Finance Committee of a well-established, international, shipping specialist law firm. Focused on supporting 2–3 Senior Directors on the Finance Committee, this hybrid role combines traditional EA responsibilities with hands-on financial, operational and administrative support. Usually based 3 days from the offices in London Bridge and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities
  • Diary management for the Finance Committee (2–3 Directors)
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Extensive international travel arrangement with itineraries
  • Correspondence and general admin support
  • Acting as internal and external liaison on routine administration matters
  • Screening phone calls and emails from service providers for the Finance Committee and prioritising tasks requiring the Finance Committee’s input
  • Preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Taking minutes in meetings
  • Liaising with Accountants to diarise filing deadlines for various requirements and keeping Directors updated
  • Assisting the Finance Committee with financial management generally, including internal liaison for accounts receivable
  • Managing financial/accounting reports for Directors on a monthly basis
  • Implementing and maintaining appropriate filing systems for financial reporting
  • Collating data and sending out circulars
  • Running personal errands for the Directors
Qualifications/Experience
  • Numerate and detail oriented administrator
  • Professional but personable EA from a legal background
  • Keen interest in finance, financial efficiency and numbers
  • Confidentiality and discretion essential
