A leading scientific organization is seeking a Digital Content Assistant for its flagship magazine, Chemistry World. You will maintain website content, prepare material for online platforms, and assist with online events. The ideal candidate has a degree in a scientific field and experience in writing and analytics. Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification in a scientific field and current understanding of the science landscape.
  • Experience of writing and proof‑reading content for the web, including social media, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with web analytics tools including social media monitoring, search engine optimisation and content management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update website content in line with house style and SEO best practices.
  • Prepare and publish content for web and social media.
  • Monitor and report on website performance using analytics tools.
  • Assist with live online events and audience engagement.
