Introduction

Our client is an thriving water management company who deliver a range of services to clients nationwide including commissioning and pre-commissioning. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly skilled HVAC/Water Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Colchester area. The successful applicant will come from a strong commissioning background and will be experienced in carrying out commissioning and balancing on air and water systems on various site types. Applications will be considered from candidates who have air or water commissioning experience. Consideration will be given to applications from Ipswich, Felixstowe, Braintree, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.

Requisites
  • A good working knowledge of the BSRIA guidelines would be desirable.
  • Considerable experience in balancing air and water systems.
  • Ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctly.
  • Must come from a good water treatment, technical, chemical and maintenance background.
  • Efficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Well versed with the water treatment industry.
  • Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essential.
Key Role Will Encompass
  • Commissioning air and water systems.
  • Calibrating equipment to accurately balance water systems.
  • Adhering with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Carrying out service work strictly and in accordance with the client’s specification.
  • Conducting training of staff as when required.
  • Inspecting project installations as and when required.
  • Producing reports and preparing quotations.
  • Undertaking some water treatment duties to suit business requirements.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building and maintaining a good rapport.

The successful candidate will be focused, committed, flexible and at the same time have good work ethics and complete work within timeline.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
