A leading service provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Team Leader to oversee maintenance and installation tasks on a large nuclear site. Responsibilities include managing client queries, planning work schedules, and mentoring team members. Applicants should possess NVQ level 3 in HVAC, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. This mobile position requires flexibility in working hours.
Mechanical HVAC Team Leader within Hard Services. To be the first point of contact for the client and team employees, taking a proactive approach to customer care and dealing with day-to-day issues including delivery, quality, health, safety, environmental and resources. To maintain, repair and install new assets predominately on but not limited to fire dampers, AHU units and ventilation ducts to specified standards as determined by the contract, legislation and company procedures.
Team Leader / Supervisor Experience; experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of Fire Dampers, AHU units and ventilation ducts. A general knowledge of nuclear site non‑core operational practices would be desirable but not essential. Have the ability to organise work and liaise with multi‑discipline operational teams.
NVQ level 3 in HVAC or equivalent. Full clean driving licence. IOSH Managing Safely.
Must be a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, focussed on service delivery, operational support & customer service. Able to develop and nurture long‑term lasting relationships with the client, staff, sub‑contractors and suppliers acting with professionalism and integrity at all times. Must have a positive approach and good work ethic.
This is a mobile position across a large nuclear site, demanding a variety of physical activities to deliver the required service to the client. The candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours (including overtime) & will also be required to work rostered weekends.
