Commercial HVAC Installer/Service Technician – Birmingham, AL

BGIS Integrated Technical Services (ITS) is hiring a Commercial HVAC Installer/Service Technician in Birmingham, AL, to join our diverse, innovative team. Earn $30–$42/hr and participate in the $3,500 Tech Flex Program which offers a cash bonus, advanced training, or extra paid time off. Ideal for HVAC professionals in Birmingham, Hoover, or Vestavia Hills.

Your Role as a HVAC Installer/Service Technician

As a HVAC Installer/Service Technician you’ll lead the installation and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, ensuring peak performance and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:

What You’ll Do
  • Install and service commercial HVAC systems (split systems, packaged units, ice machines).
  • Perform pipefitting, brazing, soldering, and precise measurements.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and accurate documentation.
What You Need
  • US work authorization required (or permanent).
  • 2–5 years of commercial HVAC installation and service experience.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Professional, positive attitude, team player, willingness to work and learn.
  • Personal tools: hand tools, drills, Sawzall, manometer, multimeter, refrigerant gauges.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders with 30 lbs., and work in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver’s license (background/drug checks required).
  • Secure parking for company vehicle required, no HOA restrictions.
