Project Delivery Engineer – Major Projects (SAP)

Locations: York, Sheffield, Castleford, Brigg, Hull (Yorkshire-wide)

Type: Permanent | Voltage Range: 11kV–132kV

We’re proud to be partnering with a leading electricity distribution network that powers 3.9 million homes and businesses across the North of England.

They are looking for 6 experienced Project Delivery Engineers to join their Major Projects Team. If you're a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with operational experience from 11kV to 132kV, this is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex reinforcement and new connection projects across the network.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and deliver HV & EHV capital reinforcement and new connection projects (demand and )

• Act as SAP on the distribution network up to 132kV

• Plan and coordinate construction activity, outages, and emergency response procedures

• Participate in the operational standby rota (post-authorisation)

• Ensure delivery is safe, compliant, and aligned with cost, time and quality expectations

What They’re Looking For

• HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of relevant HV project experience

• Existing HV/EHV SAP authorisation (or ability to obtain), ideally up to 132kV

• Strong working knowledge of CDM, Distribution Safety Rules, and plant commissioning

• Proven experience delivering technical projects within regulatory and operational frameworks

• NEBOSH/IOSH or similar HSE qualification
