Job Overview

HireShire is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and manage core human resources functions within the US market. This role will be responsible for overseeing HR operations, recruitment strategy, employee relations, compliance, and performance management while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of US employment laws, and a passion for building people-focused processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations , including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in compliance with US labour laws.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to support workforce planning and talent strategy .
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including role approvals, hiring processes, and offer management.
  • Manage employee relations , conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes in a fair and compliant manner.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations .
  • Oversee payroll coordination, benefit administration, and leave management in collaboration with finance and vendors.
  • Drive performance management , employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee data.
  • Lead and mentor HR team members, providing guidance and professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources , Business Administration, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR operations or HR management .
  • Strong knowledge of US labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices .
  • Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ATS platforms, and HR analytics tools .
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
