Responsibilities
- Support the CRM & Data proposition at The Marketing Pod, including supporting growth of the service area, new product development, new business and managing the day‑to‑day deliverables of the data and CRM service.
- Hands‑on delivery of client data projects, including recommendations on marketing data strategy and marketing insights.
- Support CRM, martech and salestech personnel to lead on our data and CRM proposition.
- Support the day‑to‑day management of B2B marketing data within CRM environments:
- Data acquisition/build via data suppliers or bespoke building using open‑source or third‑party data and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator/Cognism.
- Segmentation to build accurate, highly targetable campaign‑ready data lists.
- CRM management (campaign tracking, data governance, data transformation and formatting, etc.).
- Compliance management and reporting.
- Data visualisation and reporting using a suite of tools.
- Provide data‑driven recommendations to enhance campaign and overall marketing performance through analysis and actionable insights.
- Account and contact profiling using open‑source and third‑party data.
- Represent the data team for our clients in cross‑team collaboration and workflows.
- Support client projects and propose solutions aligned with client goals, business requirements and processes:
- Roll out proposed solutions.
- Support the team in setting up/optimising CRM and MarTech systems for clients.
- Assist in developing best practices in the space.
- Technology integrations: be involved in integration projects from a systems specialist point of view and work closely with our developers, other Podsters and clients.
- Understand client needs and processes, define, strategise and implement marketing, sales and service processes and automation programmes.
- Propose solutions for improving or configuring technology and ensure the right solutions are used for the client’s needs, goals and business strategy across the tech stack.
- Data migration and quality control.
- Configure technology solutions: support complex configuration projects, roll out proposed solutions, set up/optimise CRM and MarTech systems, develop best practices, and design workflows.
- Training: train internal staff and clients on solutions, and support certification with key technology partners.
- Perform technology audits: analyse and provide recommendations on how clients can follow technology best practice, feed into audit templates and help define and improve them as new features are released.
- Work with account managers, business development managers and the full Pod team to match client needs, goals and strategy with the right HubSpot solution.
- Conduct HubSpot demos to prospective and existing clients and scope projects to onboard HubSpot, implement custom HubSpot solutions and provide ongoing support where needed.
- Reporting and analytics: help define how success is measured on each tech solution, ensuring integrated reporting across solutions to enable closed‑loop reporting; provide reporting and insights to the Pod insights team; build and update HubSpot and external dashboards/reports where required.

Qualifications

- Willing to proactively support Pod’s contribution to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Minimum 2 years of HubSpot experience.
- 3 + years experience in a digital agency/consultancy or a consulting/specialist role working with internal or external clients throughout the whole process (consulting, solution building, implementation and training).
- Solid knowledge and experience administering the HubSpot platform, including custom objects, HubSpot APIs and integrations with other platforms (essential).
- Working with development teams to create bespoke solutions.
- Experience onboarding and/or managing complex HubSpot installations running HubSpot Enterprise CRM Suite.
- Experience working with the HubSpot Design Manager and/or command line interface.
- Excellent command of English, with exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Ability to present your work and articulate succinctly. Adept at high‑level client presentations.
- A solid understanding of inbound marketing / customer experience marketing.
- Experience querying and updating CRM objects and schema using APIs.
- Strong background in the management and manipulation of B2B marketing data:
- Run data management best practices.
- Control data migration / imports.
- Data formatting / structuring.
- Data object mapping.
- Data quality and integrity / data enrichment.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel (including formulas).
- An analytical and inquisitive approach to marketing data.
- Experience interpreting data analysis outputs that can feed into planning and strategy development.
- Involvement in making strategic decisions to formulate and shape data‑driven marketing campaigns for our clients.
- Knowledge of the marketing data industry with experience in building relationships with third‑party suppliers.
- Proven experience and knowledge of CRM applications such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience using platforms such as HubSpot, Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, etc.
- Problem‑solving skills – able to identify the required deliverable/solution and the stages involved in getting there.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to engage and influence.
Bonus skills
- B2B energy industry knowledge.
- Will have or be willing to attain multiple HubSpot certifications, including the HubSpot Solutions Partner certification.
