Overview

HSE Recruitment are working with a large manufacturing site in Shoreham-by-Sea who are looking for a HSEQ Advisor to support the site in improving compliance and culture across the site.

It is a large, complex site with around 350 staff. Risks on site include assembly, manufacturing, fuels, chemicals, FLT, environmental permits - what you would expect for a busy production facility.

Responsibilities
  • Support the site in building and improving culture and ensuring high levels of compliance, working alongside the other HSEQ Advisor, the SLT on site and with the support of the HSEQ Director.
  • Manage ISO systems: 45001, 14001, 9001 and 27001.
  • Deal with internal and external audits, trend analysis, risk assessment reviews and training.
Person specification / Qualifications
  • NEBOSH Certificate level as a minimum.
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering or production would be an advantage but not essential; emphasis on personality and motivation.
  • Internal auditor, fire safety or environmental/waste experience would be desirable.
  • Strong communication, engaging, influential, hands-on, able to translate technical knowledge into language understood by all levels.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to keep improving.
Salary

Salary is negotiable but the budget is ideally £40-50,000, maybe more for the right person.
