Job description

Elevation Recruitment Group is currently partnered with a leading chemical manufacturer in Middlesbrough who are looking for a HSE Specialist to oversee their manufacturing operation.

Reporting into the UK HSE Manager, the role will take ownership of the site's policies, systems, and ensure the business maintains compliance. The company has multiple sites within the UK and a presence in over 36 countries.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Implementation, development, and maintenance of health, safety, and environment programmes according to company standards and local regulations.
• Evaluating production processes, systems, and technology, and recommending changes to improve safety and reduce environmental impact.
• Supporting, developing, and maintaining ISO management systems and the audit process.
• Developing, coordinating, and delivering training on HSE topics to ensure employee understanding of policies and standards.

I'm keen to speak with experienced HSE professionals with the following skills:

• Holds a NEBOSH Certificate
• Experience with ISO14001/45001 implementation
• Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
