Job summary

A leading renewable energy company is searching for an HSE Supervisor to oversee safety and compliance for a 50MW Solar PV project in Greater London. This contract role involves monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to UK construction laws. Ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds in HSE for large projects and excellent client representation skills. This position is set to start in February 2026 and will last approximately 12 months.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated HSE experience in large-scale projects.
  • In-depth understanding of construction laws and compliance.
  • Proven track record in client representation.

We're supporting a leading renewable energy company preparing for the construction of a 50MW Solar PV project in the Greater London region and are seeking an HSE Client Representative to oversee safety and compliance throughout delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and enforce HSE expectations across site activities
  • Perform inspections, audits and safety engagement
  • Review and validate documentation including RAMS and site safety reports
  • Support safe systems of work and contractor compliance
  • Lead incident investigation processes where required
Requirements
  • HSE experience on large-scale Solar or equivalent construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction law and CDM
  • Experience representing client-side interests on live sites
  • Ability to work independently and maintain clear reporting structure
