Overview

The HR Systems and Data Assistant will support the effective operation of HR systems and ensure accurate data management within the Human Resources department. This role is based in central Oxford and is ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining efficient HR processes.

Client Details

You’ll be working for a well‑respected organisation within the Higher Education sector, known for its commitment to excellence and impactful initiatives. You’ll work alongside a small HR team to maintain the data held within the system and work with the Head of HR to implement improvements to ways of working. This is a part‑time opportunity, offering circa 20 hours per week with the opportunity to increase overtime as the role develops.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update HR systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate reports and provide insights from HR data for decision‑making purposes.
  • Support the onboarding process by ensuring employee records are accurately recorded.
  • Assist with HR‑related queries and provide system support to team members.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth implementation of system updates.
  • Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to collate information for monthly payroll (you will not have responsibility of running payroll, but should feel confident working with and using data).
  • Provide training to staff on the use of HR systems when required.

Job Offer
  • Competitive salary ranging from £33,000 to £40,500 per annum, dependent on experience.
