HR Systems Analyst Permanent based in Northampton NN4

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Finance HR Systems specialist to manage and administer HRIS systems throughout the employee lifecycle. You will ensure data integrity, support payroll processes, and act as a HR systems specialist on projects, providing expert guidance and tier‑2 escalation support for the wider HR Shared Services team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain HR systems including user setup, hierarchy changes and access management.
  • Act as a tier‑2 escalation point to resolve user issues and support the change request review process.
  • Provide HR data and systems expertise for projects involving new or upgraded HR systems.
  • Design tools and processes and provide data insights for HR leadership initiatives such as annual salary reviews, bonus payments and time and attendance reconciliation.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely pay period closure.
  • Recommend and implement system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and the end‑user experience.
  • Create and maintain HR system guides, knowledge cards and testing documentation.
  • Communicate important system updates and events to the wider business.

Experience
  • Previous experience as an HR systems super user or HR analyst with responsibility for system administration.
  • Experience conducting user testing and working with multiple data sources.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge or experience with system integrations or interface processes is desirable.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and understanding of payroll processes.

  • Monday – Friday
Work Location
  • Northampton office (3 days in person / 2 days WFH)
