HR & Office Operations Manager

Salary: £42,000 | Full-Time | Office-Based (North Acton)

This is a dynamic, full-time, office-based role where you'll take the lead on HR operations while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office alongside our Office Manager.

What You'll Do
HR Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of absences, holidays, sick leave, and lateness
  • Lead follow-ups on recurring issues, including conducting disciplinary meetings where needed
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law around contracts, staff conduct, and internal processes
  • Draft and issue employment contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Act as a first point of contact for staff concerns, escalating where appropriate
  • Oversee recruitment and support with performance reviews
Office Operations:
  • Work with the Office Manager on workplace planning, socials, and internal events
  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and liaise with external service providers
  • Support with vendor relationships and health & safety management
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in an HR role
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law, particularly around absence, contracts, and disciplinary issues
  • Strong communicator with a calm, professional approach to sensitive conversations
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player who's friendly, proactive, and solutions-focused
