A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a 12-month maternity cover in London. The position involves strategic and operational HR responsibilities, including recruitment, change management, and employee relations. Ideal candidates will hold a CIPD Level 7, possess strong HR leadership experience, and have a solid understanding of UK employment law. This role offers a competitive salary and requires onsite presence 2 days per week.
HR Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international organisation for an experienced HR Manager to cover a maternity leave contract. Based in London, this role requires a minimum of two days a week in the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior HR professional who is confident operating at both strategic and operational levels. You will take full responsibility for the HR function, working closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver people strategies that support organisational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading on HR strategy and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management and succession planning.
Providing expert advice on complex employee relations issues.
Driving employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Managing HR operations, payroll, benefits, and policy compliance.
Leading organisational change initiatives, including TUPE transfers, redundancy processes and structural adjustments.
Partnering with senior stakeholders on global HR matters, including benchmarking salaries and supporting international staff.
Delivering projects including a review of benefits packages and the implementation of a new HR/payroll platform.
What we’re looking for:
CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within an international context.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice, with the ability to advise confidently on complex ER matters.
Significant experience in change management, including TUPE, redundancy and organisational restructuring.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical and organisational skills.
