I’m partnering with a highly regarded investment management firm specialising in European private markets in central London to recruit an experienced and forward-thinking HR Manager. This is a newly shaped role, with ownership of the full people agenda. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a growing, entrepreneurial environment and wants to help build something meaningful from the inside out.

My client is looking for someone who can bring energy, confidence, and fresh ideas. You’ll play a key role in shaping the firm’s culture, modernising HR practices, and aligning people strategy with business growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own and lead the end-to-end HR function across EMEA, with a blend of strategic and operational focus
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to shape a values-led, high-performance culture
  • Refresh and modernise HR policies, frameworks, and processes
  • Lead core HR areas including employee relations, performance, compensation, onboarding, and compliance
  • Support the business through growth and change, acting as a cultural ambassador and trusted adviser
  • Drive engagement, wellbeing, and DE&I initiatives that reflect the firm's values
  • Oversee HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including regulatory requirements where relevant
  • Leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

About you:

  • Solid HR generalist experience, in financial services. Ideally in an Investment Management environment
  • Experience working across EMEA and familiarity with employment law in multiple jurisdictions
  • Fluent in at least one additional European language (essential)
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and operating autonomously
  • Strategic thinker who’s also hands-on - a natural builder and problem solver
  • Comfortable in a scale-up or smaller business environment where agility is key
  • Passionate about culture, people experience, and making a tangible impact
