Job summary

A leading automotive OEM is seeking a highly experienced HR Consultant for its Essex location to establish and support a new HR team focused on strategic growth. The ideal candidate will be degree and CIPD qualified with over 5 years of HR experience, including HR Generalist and Business Partner roles. Responsibilities include setting up new HR initiatives and supporting project delivery without sponsorship eligibility restrictions. This role is a 12-month rolling contract.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HR focused on strategy and customer service.
• Proven record of HR service delivery as a Generalist or Business Partner.
• Experience with project management and business start-ups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and support the implementation of the new HR team.
• Support growth initiatives for the new business.
• Serve as a strategic HR consultant.

Position Overview

A leading automotive OEM is seeking a highly experienced HR Consultant for its Essex location. This role is part of a new HR team that will be instrumental in setting up and supporting the implementation and growth of this new business.

Requirements

• Skills Required: Applicants should be degree and CIPD qualified, IT literate and have a minimum of 5 years experience of working in a strategic HR customer‑focused role.
• Skills Preferred: Ideally applicants will have experience of business start‑ups and/or project delivery.
• Experience Required: At least 5 years experience of working within HR with a proven record of HR service delivery as HR Generalist/Business Partner.
• Experience Preferred: Experience of project management, launching and implementing programmes, business set‑ups.
• Education Required: Degree qualified.
• Education Preferred: CIPD qualified.

Contract: 12 months rolling contract.
