HR Business Partner -Large-Scale Warehouse & Logistics

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Benefits
Location: Onsite | Nottinghamshire

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in fast‑paced, complex warehouse & logistics environments?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major UK employer operating one of the country's largest warehouse operations supporting a site of c.2,000 colleagues and playing a pivotal role in shaping a high‑performance culture.

Working onsite at a highly dynamic distribution hub, you'll partner closely with senior warehouse leadership to deliver meaningful change, drive operational excellence, and develop a resilient, engaged workforce.

What you'll be doing
  • Acting as a strategic People Partner to senior logistics and warehouse leaders, supporting a fast‑moving and demanding operation
  • Owning and delivering the people plan for the warehouse, ensuring it aligns with wider business priorities
  • Leading complex change programmes and employee relations activity within a heavily unionised environment
  • Upskilling operational managers, improving capability, and supporting them through sensitive or challenging people matters
  • Driving performance, talent planning and engagement across a large, diverse colleague population
  • Developing people‑focused solutions and ensuring they land effectively within a logistics setting
  • Being a visible, hands‑on presence onsite, building trust and bringing values and behaviours to life
What you'll bring
  • Significant HR partnering experience within large‑scale warehouse/logistics or similarly complex operational environments
  • Strong background working within unionised settings, confidently managing ER and driving positive outcomes
  • Broad HR expertise across employee lifecycle, organisational design, engagement, talent and performance
  • Ability to analyse data and translate it into practical actions
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to influence, challenge and build credibility quickly
  • A proactive, tenacious approach with the ability to thrive under pressure
