A community-based housing organization is seeking a Housing Officer to manage a portfolio of approximately 600 properties. The position requires previous experience in housing management or customer-facing roles, excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Salary ranges from £31,082 to £34,535 per annum, with comprehensive benefits including substantial annual leave and pension scheme.
Housing Officer (North) – Location/Base: Erewash, Derbyshire. This role is community based, and desk based with a combination of working from emh offices, community hubs and home.
Hours: 35 hours per week

As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive housing management service which includes building partnerships to resolve anti-social behaviour and estate management, making a positive contribution to our communities. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 600 properties working closely with tenants to address their concerns and provide support when needed.
Previous experience in housing management or a related field is preferred.
Do you have experience of working in a customer facing role with strong customer care skills demonstrating high levels of customer ownership and accountability?
Do you have excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and decision-making skills?
