About the Role

We are recruiting a Housing Manager to provide vacancy cover within a busy North London team. This is a varied, community based role where you will spend most of your time out on our estates, supporting customers and ensuring our communities are safe, well managed and welcoming places to live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage anti social behaviour cases across our estates
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Carry out estate inspections and identify actions to maintain safe, clean and well run communities
  • Engage with and meet contractors on site, monitoring works and standards
  • Complete, record and maintain routine safety and compliance checks across buildings and communities
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners including local authorities and MPs
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all actions are completed in line with policies and procedures
About You
  • Have previous experience working in housing and a good understanding of housing management
  • Have knowledge of housing law (and ideally Universal Credit)
  • Be highly organised, methodical and proactive, with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate resilience, particularly when managing complaints or challenging situations
  • Be confident working with a range of external stakeholders
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, while being comfortable spending much of your time working independently on estates
Additional Requirements
  • A vehicle insured for business use is required (mileage will be paid)
  • Standard DBS check required
  • Due to current limits on certificates of sponsorship, we are unable to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role (subject to regular review)
