Job summary

A dynamic local authority in London is seeking a Housing Litigation Lawyer focused on Anti-Social Behaviour for an initial 3-month locum role. The position allows hybrid working with one day in the office per week. Candidates should have strong knowledge of housing law, experience managing litigation, and preferably local government experience. Attractive hourly rate with potential for contract extension.

Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer – London Local Authority – Hybrid – Full Time

Venn Group is working with a dynamic and forward-thinking local authority in London in their search for a Housing Litigation Lawyer with a focus on Anti-Social Behaviour on a locum basis for an initial 3-month role.

Details:

  • Job Title: Housing Lawyer (Anti-Social Behaviour)
  • Hourly Rate: Up to £55 umbrella per hour (depending on experience) – flexible for the right candidate
  • Length of Contract: 3 months initially with high possibility for further extension
  • Working Pattern: Full-time – 36 hours per week
  • Location: Local Authority in London
  • Office Attendance: 1 day per week required – remote working considered
Responsibilities
  • Preparing and conducting legal proceedings relating to housing and tenancy enforcement
  • Advising officers and stakeholders on housing litigation and anti-social behaviour matters
