Job description

As a Housekeeping Steward at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional housekeeping services to our guests. Your responsibilities include maintaining guest areas and cabins, performing back-of-house duties, and ensuring all preparations are completed punctually. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• This is a seasonal role running until 5 December 2025.
• Providing excellent customer service in line with Belmond and Leading Quality Assurance standards.

• Cleaning guest cabins and public areas according to departmental standards.

• Making guest beds with clean linen, replenishing amenities, and reporting maintenance issues.

• Assisting with onboard duties such as greeting guests, handling luggage, and supporting operational departments.

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas, including personal grooming.

What You Bring:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.

• Hospitality qualification (advantage).

• COSHH knowledge and awareness.

• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety, hygiene, and cleaning practices.

• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and work independently.
